I say to you, “Mathematics Education is me.” Hmmm, what do
you think?
Yeah, mathematics education is me, because I’m student of
mathematics education in Yogyakarta State University. So what do you thinking
now?
Now, I have communicate with mathematics education.
Especially with calculus, algebra, logic, axiom, theorem, education science
etc. Mathematics Education is our menu every day. Maybe, mathematics like a
monster that makes our life horrible and makes our head dizzy with the number,
number, and number or with the puzzle that cannot solve. Mathematics Education
and I cannot be separated because mathematics education is me.
One day, two day, . . . every day, I always with mathematics
education because all of my course is have relationship with it. Sometime, I
feel so boring but I try to love mathematics Education. Do you ever love some
one? What do you feel? Happy, isn’t it? You must do like this when you always
with mathematics education. We must try to love it. We must throw away our
negative thinking, be positive thinking with mathematics education, now. If you
love mathematics, it will be look so easy. Alternatively, we can start to
thinking that mathematics is a hero that help us to count, build home, read a
time on a clock, and etc. So without our hero we cannot do anything.
In communicated with mathematics, I cannot abjure that we
have many problem. Sometime, I feel jealous because the other one can be more
competent when he or she solves mathematics. Nevertheless, don’t be jealous,
but I must show that you solve it too. Why not? I believe that all of the
students have same competent to solve it, so I can solve it too. I make my
jealous as my motivation to learn especially learn about mathematics education.
If they can, why I cannot?
Moreover, if you have problem with mathematics education
especially in mathematics, be calm please. We cannot solve mathematics with
emotion. Any problem in mathematics have the right answer, it can be no
solution, many solution, or exactly one solution. However, be careful, if you
can the problem. There are 2 probability. The first, you can solve because the
problem is wrong or the second, you can solve because you don’t understand what
the problem want. If you have the first probability, so analyze what wrong the
problem. If you have the second problem, I think that you must add your
frequently to communicate with mathematics. Mathematics doesn’t want to
understand your difficulty, but it want you to understand mathematics. You must
have communicated with it, a bit by bit so you can be familiar with problem of
mathematics. If you familiar with it, you can solve anything problem of
mathematics, but don’t forget to always communicate with mathematics.
Me and mathematics education, oh, sometime I feel so bored
with it. Any one can help me? I feel so bored when I have a meeting with
mathematics education, especially with mathematics. Why? Because some thing
that I can look in its heart just number, number and number. Ehmm, maybe I must
be creative when I learn about it. First, try to make our note color full.
Second, maybe you can try mathematics game. Mathematics game is so useful and
pleased. It can make our mind fresh when we are bored. It is also as a method
of learning mathematics education. It is just some thing that you can do. You
can do anything when you’re bored. Remember, don’t hate mathematics!
Mathematics Education always fills my life with all of the
sensation when I communicate it. Sometime, I think that mathematics is so easy
but in another part, mathematics is so difficult. This is the sensation of
learning mathematics. Mathematics not only needs our rapidity but also our
carefulness and our ability to understand the problem. If we want to solve the
mathematics problem, first, we must try to understand the problem. Then, find
the method to solve it. In addition, be careful when we do it. Not only it, but
also mathematics education give me more knowledge to understand someone, so if
we become a teacher, we can apply it to our student.
There are no reasons not to love mathematics education.
Mathematics education especially mathematics is very useful for our daily life.
It is completing our live because it always makes our work easily especially
for counting. Mathematics is mother of science, so mathematics helps us to
develop their knowledge in other science. Mathematics education and me
complement each other. So let us, enjoy communicate with mathematics education,
and make a meeting with number, number, and number. And keep in our mind that
mathematics is so benefit in our life.
