From this elegy, I know that each student has their own characteristics and talents,
so the teacher’s rule is give them a chance to develop their abilities and
knowledge. The teachers must be belief that students can develop their talents
with their own ways. In modern teaching-learning process, students must be an
active learner and they are expected to get scientific inquiry so their logical
thinking can be improved. But, the problem is how to prepare the facilities and infrastructures,
also methods of teaching so the scientific inquiry can be implemented. Actually,
learning process which desired by “excellent student” is teacher’s desire too.
But there are some system which not supported it well, so it is only be a
expectation. As a candidate of mathematics teacher, we must be able to change
the student’s assumption that mathematics is a difficult things. We must be
able to prove that mathematics is easy (to understand) and fun. This
can be done by using an appropriate and innovative teaching methods when we
teach in a class. I hope that one time I can applied my knowledge from this
lecture to be an innovative and creative math teacher.
